Abit of an surprises this week as it continued to feature the setting under 華琳 army but there's little to no 百合 content at all. We didn't see her trying to steal 愛紗's body at all. My only explanation is that last week bath scene have already more than enough full filled her needs. But even more surprising to me is what 華琳 decided to do in this week ep, as she cooks for 愛紗 and her company, something that I would not ever expect from her character.

 

But I guess we did get to see the 妄想 one of her member did have about the juice that she have crafted herself. And the zoom into her legs and the fact of enjoyment over being stepped on shows how 百合 this group is.

 

As for any real development beyond the 2 character introduction are the continuation on the magical book. I am surpassed those 3 sister were so late to realizes what sort of power they are using at all.

 

 

 

If I recalls correct this week plot in the game should have been more エロ than what's shown in the show which ofcouse would have make ゆか worries much more meaningful. Cause instead of seeing her losing her trust over 駆 just because of mirror stuffs like we did now it would have make much more sense. But I guess given all the omission that was done on the detail of different events. Just them willing to show us a imagination scene from ゆか mind of what happened should be thankful already.

 

Although I am a bit disappointed about it but it isn't the most disappointing event in the show. As I have mentioned before that eventually 駆 will use one of the sword from 美鈴... There were suppose to be a sort of ritual before he can use it... but it seem like they are skipping it completely judging from how 美鈴 just throws him the sword in this week ep.

 

 

Although this ep is much much much better than last week ep, I still don't think it's that good over all. I guess the problem lies on the fact that they needs to complete each plot in one ep. There maybe some 2 ep plot in the future but the fact that multiple story lines are developing in the same time have forced out much of the needed developing time that is needed for the main plot. If there were a bit more description over the relationship of that man and his lover it would have make a much more emotional scene toward the end.

 

Anyhow the story line about the school is starting to unfold but I am still a bit surprised to the fact that no mentioning of the importance of こばと hat at all in the show. Maybe next week ep would starts to reveal more of her side of the story?

 

 

Although I did have some hopes for the battle between アイリ and ナナエル to be at least some what exciting but once アイリ clothing disappeared, I know it's over. But still to have her losing in just 3 min is some what disspointing... As I have mentioned before the chance of her winning is almost non existent but now she disappeared altogether... well there goes my favor character in the show. I guess I can still hopes that she would return in some way or form later on.

 

As for ナナエル just like how she have won アイリ without a fight at all, she loses equally as quick (to a point that it's hardly funny at all, I expect more comedy from her!!!). But I guess the most important thing about this week ep is the rebuild of the sword (cheat?) and the weakness of the Queen (maybe that's why ナナエル was send to join the matches in the first place?)

 

Anyhow after much waiting there's an different ending theme this week. But unless they intent that this ending theme to be used only like 2 times I doubt there will be one for アイリ.

 

 

This show have spend more than 80% of it's time on combats so seeing an ep with no combat at all is a bit strange. In fact even those ep that were about the past event so far either ended up with combats or just doing stuffs that we have already knew. So in a sense this week ep is one that breaks both of those setting, not only is it about the past but also explained alot of what happened that lead to the creation of those two godly like creature.

 

We for the first time get to see what happened in the lab so long ago that lead to one creature being almost prefect the other one losing an eye and a heart? What it would seem that next week would explain how is it possible for him to have lived and what destroyed the lab.

 

Beyond just the much needed explanations, I find that the lack of comedies a bit disappointing but I guess consider plot development vs comedies.... we would have to settle for the first.

DARKER THAN BLACK -黒の契約者-

 

 

For plot development there's not really much to mention that we couldn't have guessed from last week. Basically the official revealing of the power up ability. But for the over all enjoyment of the ep, this one is quite well done. No doubt it's the fact of the love I have for ク・フィーユ as she is being sent on a sort of ghost hunting mission. From the very first debriefing in the room we get to see her reaction to the whole mission... Than for the rest of the ep (much of it) it's the enjoyment over her reaction in the haunted house as she must tries to stay alive while being attacked by ghostly clone.

 

 

This week ep is quite enjoyable with the new out looks for all the girls. Personally beside セシリー maid outfit the other one that I liked the most must have been マゴット. I think it's because of her lovely long red hair. Too bad アリア isn't faced to wear the same outfit for some reason.

 

The plot itself is centered around シャーロット and what sort of live she lived and should seek... bring out セシリー's mother to fill in the gap in the heart is nice but the sudden appearance of her out of no where is a bit strange. Cause up till now I have always assumed that セシリー parent is dead or something. Beyond her development the most important aspect this week is the answer that アリア seeked from the other magic sword. As we learn that magic sword able to take on human form is not something that is given.

 

In a sense this must have been tied to the greater plot of what ルーク is planing to do, why he needs so many magical sword? I guess to understand what he is doing first we must learn what's the purpose of magic sword to begin with.
